Job Description

PositionHighlights:

*Position:Radiologic Technologist I - Mammography Department

*Location:Highland Park Hospital

*Full Time/Part Time:Full Time

*Hours: Day shift

What you will need:

*License:IEMA licensing required

*Education:Certificate or Associate's degree from an accredited radiology program

*Certification:CPRcertification required. ARRT registry eligible required within 1 year of employment

*Experience:Previous radiology experience preferred

*Skills:Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required

What you will do:

  • Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
  • Perform radiographic exams
  • Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality
  • Complete and submit information and images to RIS in a timely manner
