RWE Clean Energy, LLC

At RWE Clean Energy (RWECE), the Associate, FP&A Investments & Consolidations; as a part ofthe Investments Controlling Development and Construction team is responsible for financial performance controlling, planning & reporting and target setting for the Onshore Wind, Solar and Energy Storage businesses in the Americas region. Working as a strategic partner and trusted advisor with the business, evaluates improvement measures, actively giving recommendations/appropriate challenges, and business decision support.

Responsibilities:

  • Support overall forecasting and reporting schedule, maintaining detailed list of key deliverables and ensuring timeline is met
  • Ensure consistency across input providers and assist with developing streamlined processes for consolidating forecasting and reporting
  • Excel at structuring ways to breakdown complex business and financial drivers into easily understandable components
  • Proficiency in system maintenance: SAP Hierarchy, Cost Structures
  • Financial planning & analysis: Support timely, complete, accurate, high-quality reporting/planning / forecasting with business stakeholders
  • People and communication: Support the growth and development of the team and how we work together locally and globally
  • Continuous process improvement: Support proactive pursuit of best practices, processes, standardization and tools that drive gains in efficiency, automation, and quality
  • Ongoing initiatives: Support company-wide top priorities and goals, special projects, and integration activities following recent organization structure change, increase in growth

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degreein Finance/Accounting/Economics/Business (required); an Advanced degree is a plus, but not required
  • Minimum of 2 yearsof professional experience in Accounting, Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial or Management Consulting, or other Finance-related fields; Renewable energy and/or management experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationships
  • Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space
  • Excellent proficiency with SAP (moderate to advanced), Excel (moderate to advanced), PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, other system/tools experience is a plus
  • Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables
  • Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team
  • Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds
  • Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable
  • Detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts
  • General accounting and IFRS knowledge a plus
  • Language: English (fluent), German is a plus
  • Other duties as assigned
