Job Description
Job Title: HR Specialist II
Location: Onsite - Hybrid Lake County, IL, 60064
Contract: 6-12 months (desire to have someone FTE long-term)
Job Details: HR Compliance and Governance Specialist will provide versatile support to various HR Operations initiatives and serve as a trusted resource for the team.
2-4 years of experience
* Support HR Operations initiatives/processes related to employee data related inquiries in support of the business
* Provide support for Audit intake process - this person will support audits globally (Statutory audits; financial; SOX audit - when there is a need for payroll or demographic data).
* Ability to analyze and review inquiries received by the compliance organization; determine data needed and understand the sensitive nature of the information being requested and shared
* Previous HR, Payroll or Talent Acquisition experience required
* Workday experience is a significant plus - in this role contractors will be pulling reports, reviewing the data and analyzing information requests that are received from the business).
* The ideal candidate will have experience with HR systems and a strong understanding of how to run reports, organize and analyze HR data.
* Excellent written and oral communication
* Project management or business experience a plus
* Significant breadth of understanding of functional HR roles and responsibilities and impact on the business.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
