What You Will Do:

  • Planning, communicating, training, and selling of the companiesdown hole equipment and related Harbison-Fischer accessories.

  • Maintain quality customer relationships while striving to expand market share and achieve sales and profit goals.

  • Keep sales manager informed of competitors activities.

  • Identify specific potential customers and product opportunities within the region, including a strategy for acquiring their business. Training of customers and distributors on product use.

  • Assist Regional Manager in preparing annual forecast.

  • Sells company products and services by developing new prospects and accounts.

  • Achieves sales targets and ensures customer satisfaction; research and provide forecasting for sale activities in the assigned sales territory or account.

  • Provides services to customers on company products; make recommendations on repair versus replace decisions; provide time and cost estimates for service activities.

  • Develop strong customer relationships.

  • Conduct negotiations according to company guidelines.

  • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.

  • Respond to customer concerns about the company and its products.

  • Know and comply with all safety policies and procedures.

  • Contribute to the department's continuous improvement culture.

  • Effectively use sales tools and processes to promote an efficient and effective sales process.

  • Use company resources, such as manuals, product guides, and service checklists to provide proactive and appropriate service.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all matters.

  • Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Valid driver's license in state of residence

  • Must be 21 years of age to operate a company vehicle

  • Two years' experience in the oil and gas industry

  • Two to four years outside sales experience

  • Strong knowledge of products and functions with the rod pump market

  • Ability to travel up to 75%

  • Must have good organizational and time management skills

  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to follow written and oral instructions

  • Good math and analytical skills

  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with downhole pumps

  • Two to Four years higher education

Physical Demands

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

  • The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.

  • Ability to lift 10 lbs.

  • Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
