Shift Hours: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Position Summary:

Performs manual machine operator tasks related to cutter and laminator machines and operation and set-up of bindery equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set-up, maintain and operate cutter and laminator.
  • Ensures finished work matches the job ticket specifications, using measuring instruments such as tape measures and calipers.
  • Support Bindery Operators in completing jobs.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards by completing work in a timely and accurate manner according to the schedule.
  • Works overtime as needed.
  • Other duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications of the Position:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, four yours of relevant industry experience, or 520 hours as an Imagine temporary employee along with manager approval to hire-full time.

Preferred Qualifications of Position:

  • Previous experience working in printing, manufacturing, distribution and/or fulfillment.

Knowledge and skills

  • Basic computer skills including email, basic, mouse, keyboard, and menu navigation.
  • Knowledge of general safety procedures
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and measurement.
  • Ability to communicate/understand basic written and verbal instructions.
  • Problem solving skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent walking
  • Frequent standing for prolonged periods of time
  • Manual dexterity of repetitive work.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stopping.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull: up to 50 pounds.

The national pay range for this role is $33,200.00 - $40,560.00 per year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program.
