Hospital Operator, Per Diem

Position Highlights:

• Position: Hospital Operator - Per Diem
• Location: Glenbrook, IL/Highland Park, IL
• Per Diem (as needed)
• Hours: 10:30am-7:00pm, 1:00pm-9:30pm, or 4:30pm-1:00am(weekdays)

• Required Travel: Glenbrook Hospital/Highland Park Hospital

What you will do:

• Professionally answer and process incoming telephone calls timely and accurately
• Respond and accurately process emergency notification requests including overhead announcements, pager notifications and escalation
• Documentation of daily activities in shift reports

What you will need:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: Six months' experience as a telephone operator on a multi-function switchboard is preferred
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Experience in a hospital or health care related setting preferred
