Job Description

The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for growing our existing customer base over the phone or video conferencing within an assigned territory. You will prospect leads and sell to new customers, creating strong relationships and a deep understanding of your accounts.

This Inside Sales Specialist will work on our Telemedicine team, achieving objectives by selling the value of our Telemedicine Services to new customers and growing utilization with existing customers.

In this Inside Sales Specialist role:

  • You will be responsible for case submissions and account management for Radiology, Cardiology and additional Telemedicine Services.

  • You will deliver on quarterly goals, maximizing profit margins.

  • You will effectively prospect and qualify new sales leads through the utilization of opportunity reports, maintaining a well-developed pipeline of prospects.

  • You will provide accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts to sales leaders.

  • You will negotiate price, case volumes and terms and conditions. You will also prepare sales agreements for customers.

  • You will maintain Salesforce with timely and accurate profiles, notes and opportunity information.

  • You will create and maintain strategic relationships that gain loyalty, and develop a strong understanding of accounts' core business objectives.

  • You will develop strategic internal partnerships across multiple lines of business.

  • You will work in close partnership with Sales and Marketing Leaders to create and implement short and long-term strategies to help meet sales goals and revenue objectives.You will need to understand and promote new offerings.

  • You will prepare general reports and other account planning information that summarizes work activities and sales results for your assigned book of business.You will prepare various analyses as needed to highlight issues and resolve questions.

  • You will engage and play an active role in working with Sales Leaders and Line of Business to further develop best practices in how we sell, market, onboard and support our customers.

What you need to succeed?

  • 3-5+ years of successful inside sales experience. Animal health/veterinary or human healthcare industry preferred.

  • Excellent customer service and business relationship-building skills required.

  • Ability to negotiate and close sales.

  • Strong communications skills including writing, listening and questioning.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly.

  • Capability to absorb and articulate technical information.

  • Highly motivated and goal oriented.

  • Strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Computer proficiency (Salesforce, Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook).

Travel:

  • You are able to travel overnight, if needed and potentially work weekends, if needed to attend tradeshows or other occasional meetings.

  • May visit Veterinary Clinics

Pay:

  • $24/hr + and $18k quarterly commission target
