Job Summary

Reporting to the Global IT Infrastructure Manager, the Senior Systems Engineer will work independently or alongside the IT infrastructure team. This position is responsible for implementing and managing regional and local infrastructure projects. Including cyber security initiatives, on prem and cloud infrastructure, backup recovery services, and Office365. Strong combination of technical, troubleshooting, project management, communication, and documentation skills is vital to System Engineer's success.

Main Responsibilities

Lead the evaluation and implementation of projects involving existing or new technical solutions.

Drive our cyber security roadmap including incident response and disaster recovery plans.

Develop and manage virtual server environment on prem (VMware) and cloud (Azure)

Manage and configure Intune deployment and policy.

Oversee existing patch management tool for servers and endpoints.

Assist with LANs, WANs, network segments, and internet.

Assist in defining and deploying standards for workstation, server, and network.

Evaluate networks and system performance to ensure security and availability.

Travel up to 20% for support and implementations.

What You Bring

Self-starting individual but also works well within a team.

Strong desire to continuously learn and willingness to learn a wide range of new skills.

Minimum associate degree in information technology.

Minimum 2 years managing on premise and cloud server infrastructure, Office365, endpoint protection security tools, and networking experience.

Certification in one of the following: Windows server, Office365, Azure, VMware, cyber security.

Demonstrated Experience With:

• Windows server; AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO.
• VMware vCenter, vSphere management, compute, network, storage, licensing.
• Azure; Strong understanding of VM creation and management, VNET's, virtual gateways, Azure backup, ASR, and marketplace applications.
• Veeam or similar backup and recovery tool.
• Desktop Central Cloud or similar patch management solution.
• Office 365; Exchange, security center, licensing.
• Sentinel One or similar EDR solution.
• BitLocker.

Nice to Have:

• Cisco, HP, Aruba switches or similar.
• Fortinet firewalls VPN tunnels
