We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator and Warehouse Support Member to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently operate a forklift to move materials and products around our facility. Additionally, you will play a role in ensuring that employees have the necessary materials and supplies to sustain their workflow.

Starting Pay: $19/hr, depending on experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport materials and products between the yard and warehouse
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition
• Ensure accurate equipment movement and material handling activities as directed by the Yard Foreman
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the yard inventory
• Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet deadlines
• Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or inventory discrepancies to the appropriate personnel
• Support other warehouse functions such as gathering equipment to support shipping/receiving tasks
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations

Requirements:

• Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar setting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Strong communication skills among team for safety and operational reasons
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
• Flexibility to work Saturdays as necessary
