Job Description

We are looking for a Supply Planer II to join our team and help us optimize the delivery of chemicals to our oil field operations in Sugar Land, TX. You will be responsible for managing the Blue Yonder planning system to support continuous improvement of our supply planning network. In performing this role, the Supply Planner is responsible for critical thought in managing master data and system parameters to support sending accurate planning signals to create a mid-term Supply Plan for execution that supports service and inventory metrics. In addition, the Supply Planner is the liaison for Demand Planning and Marketing to address supply issues.

What You Will Do:

  • Converts demand plans into a network supply plan through Blue Yonder for production and replenishment execution. This includes master data management to optimize and create a supply plan to promote network efficiency and manage costs.
  • Identifies and resolves lead time issues with key stakeholders including Demand Planning, SBUs, and PLMs
  • Balances network plans to support production efficiency, sprint capacity, raw material allocation etc.
  • Develops stocking strategies to support inventory management, customer service, and implement corrective action when imbalances occur.
  • Regularly monitors and addresses inactive, slow moving, and excess inventory
  • Monitors key master data and supply chain parameters in Blue Yonder ESP (e.g. Safety Stock, Replenishment strategies)
  • Manages supply constraints with stakeholders through regular collaboration and communication.
  • Identifies and implements improvement plans to ensure security of supply for existing and new business
  • Supports a Lean Manufacturing/Supply culture by using root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement and corrective actions in identified process gaps.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years using Blue Yonder ESP supply planning.
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in operations, supply chain management, logistics, or business
  • Minimum 5 years of applicable Supply Chain Planning experience, preferably inventory management or master planning with global operations
  • High level of proficiency with common ERP systems, especially Blue Yonder ESP and SAP (Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP))
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Blue Yonder planning SME
  • High level proficiency with MS Office, primarily Excel
  • APICS Certification
  • A track record of successfully delivering to Key Performance Indicators and business objectives
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive decisions and build consensus among stakeholders
