Job Description
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Lead a team that aligns closely with Client Growth & Tech Sales leaders and focuses on the following key activities:
Drive forecasting process & partner with sales team to improve forecast accuracy
Drive SFDC data hygiene processes
Supports sales play planning and execution
Create a monthly sales team/vertical reporting package template (with input from sales leaders) to be shared with key stakeholders (i.e., division president teams, business line leaders, etc.). Info to be included: Sales results vs. target, win rates, pipeline growth details & plans, forecast, account penetration details & changes, growth strategies & strategy updates, target accounts & progress, etc.
Based on this template, work closely with the Reporting and Business Analysis team to generate sales team/vertical reporting package.
Partner with sales leader and Reporting and Analysis team to create sales & seller performance reporting and action plans
Drive/support operational priorities as defined by sales leader
Drive/support programs, priorities and asks from other groups that the sales team is responsible for (i.e., Medallia lead program, territory planning, asks from marketing, operations, training, HR, etc.)
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas of improvement.
Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders and customers.
Collaborate with other functions to streamline processes, fix issues and optimize activities.
Share knowledge and successes with full Commercial Operations team so benefits & improvements are driven globally.
Team Leadership
Create an open, collaborative, inclusive, fun and high-performing team culture with the context of remote reporting relationships
Actively support, mentor and develop team members
Proactively build collaborative, effective working relationships across various stakeholder groups including - Client Growth and Tech Sales team, finance, marketing, product, sales effectiveness, HR, etc.)
Focus on high-value, low pain mentality in interactions with key stakeholders
Role Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
5 - 7 years experience and proven track record of success in sales-related operations and execution activities that support growth and operational excellence
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with broad cross-functional teams to achieve growth & operational objectives.
Excellent executive communication skills in the following areas: creating senior executive storylines and talk tracks based on results & data; creating high-quality executive presentations (and driving the needed iterative, collaborative draft & review cycles); excellent verbal and written communications.
Excellent program management and deliverable creation skills.
Expertise leading diverse, executive-level core teams through a strategic planning process toward a common goal.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
Extensive knowledge of sales processes, methodologies, and sales technology stack.
