The opportunity

This role will lead the sales and relationship function for claims by managing client partnerships and marketing differentiators to support business growth and profitability. Serve as the single point of contact for internal and external partners by fostering inter-departmental collaboration and building effective relationships.

Primary Responsibilities
* Facilitate strategic sales approach by guiding and encouraging team collaboration and knowledge-sharing to drive a consistent, cohesive approach to building and developing sales opportunities
*Manage continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing existing portfolios and identifying opportunities to increase profitability and add value
*Cultivate a professional company reputation by upholding organizational values and sharing best practices with direct reports to keep communications consistent and aligned with company image
*Manage services of existing client base by collaborating with senior leaders to share information and identify and capitalize on opportunities for business growth
*Manage budgeted resources by anticipating expenditures, accurately forecasting resource needs/costs and properly accounting for expenses to meet requirements and achieve fiscal responsibility
*Promote inter-departmental collaboration and drive cohesion between Claims/Loss Control, Business (including shared services) and Customers to increase profitability and add value
*Act as single/primary point of contact to trouble shoot technical/service issues from agents, brokers and policyholders by designing and utilizing innovative solutions to ensure outcomes are achieved, lessons learned are documented and shared, and highest-quality customer service is delivered
*Contribute to the development and implementation of annual and long-term division-wide strategic plans and operating policies by building relationships, sharing Claims and Risk specific industry knowledge and addressing business issues with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve business and objectives, operating targets, and budget
*Collaborate and communicate across the entire Claims business unit along with all operating units across QBENA to include Underwriting, Actuary, Finance, Legal, Risk, Global Risk and Treasury/Accounting

Required Education
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Required Experience
* 7 years relevant experience

*Events affecting the industry, including understanding of competition and the marketplace

Compensation

Base pay offered will vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location and business needs

Annual Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000

San Francisco CA, NJ and New York City NY
