Summary:

In this role, you will perform complex analyses and develop solutions based onthorough and comprehensive research and technical expertise. You will interpret spend and clinical data to include, but not limited to, identifying cost and clinical opportunities, preparing statistical and ad-hoc reporting, and drafting presentations. You will also provide reporting to verify and validate contract optimization and cost savings opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly support a team of consultants in the Physician Preference Items (PPI) of the perioperative service line areas.

  • Identify opportunities for provider cost savings and reduction of clinical variation using provider cost and clinical data.

  • Design and create charts, graphs, tables, and reports that supplement provider data and provide valuable insight to our providers through identification of unique data stories.

  • Serve as a resource to internal and external partners regarding functional knowledge and expertise.

  • Deliver on a wide range of data analysis requests, including benchmarking, contracts and conversion, gap or needs assessment analysis, and supplier bid review.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Expert knowledge in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is required.

  • Previous health care experience with data related to the products and procedures associated with the perioperative and patient care setting highly preferred.

  • Familiarity with health care commodities, advanced energy, endoscopy, post-acute care, or operating room preferred.

  • Experience with SQL parsing and/or Python a plus.

Estimated Hiring Range:

$68,500.00 - $99,400.00
