Are you a multi-faceted marketing professional with a passion for crafting compelling stories and revenue-generating campaigns? Good news! 1WorldSync is looking for a Customer Marketing Specialist to join our team in our Chicago office.
1WorldSync is the industry leader in product content management. With approximately 600 employees across the US, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK, we're seeking a Customer Marketing Specialist to support our growing global team.
Reporting directly to our Senior Director of Marketing, the Customer Marketing Specialist will be responsible for driving client engagement via integrated marketing campaigns targeted toward 1WorldSync's SMB brand and manufacturer customers. The role will also be the driving force behind 1WorldSync's customer advocacy marketing program. Collaborating closely with the 1WorldSync growth marketing and creative teams, as well as the 1WorldSync account management commercial team, the position will provide excellent opportunities for a skilled marketer seeking creativity, autonomy, and a results-driven environment.
As a Customer Marketing Specialist at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:
  • Customer Communications: Aid in executing a customer marketing plan to communicate the value of our solution and consistently educate about the full extent of our entire product portfolio, with the aim of driving retention and upselling.
  • Content Development: Create compelling content- including but not limited to webinars, emails, ads (social and display), and product updates - aimed specifically at customers for upsell, cross-sell and adoption
  • Customer Advocacy: Support in executing our customer advocacy marketing program, from sourcing case studies, webinars, and testimonial opportunities to project managing the creation and promotion of these materials
  • Events Management: Organize customer-focused webinars as needed
  • Account Mapping and Contact Management: Help build a comprehensive role-based customer contact database for segmenting marketing communications and developing informative account maps for more accurate cross-sell outreach.
  • Customer Research: Track, measure, and improve the performance of customer marketing campaigns and provide customer insights that inform prospect-focused marketing

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 2+ years of general marketing or corporate communications experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a comparable field of study
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Excellent marketing copywriting and verbal presentation skills
  • Proficiency with presentation software such as PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with marketing automation software such as Marketo or Hubspot
  • Beginner-level design skills or a keen eye for quality visual design preferred
  • Intermediate website management skills such as content management and basic HTML

Additional Details:
  • This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days per week at our Chicago headquarters location.
  • This role requires the candidate to have the authority to work in, and be located in the US.
  • This position requires up to 10% travel.
