Assistant Director, Fiduciary Cash

What the day will look like

Professionally and accurately oversee cash allocation and disbursements for Reinsurance Client Services North America (including some Caribbean and LatAm). Work closely with client service Advocates in accounting and claims, Genpact Technical Accounting Team, Aon UK Limited as well as reinsurers regarding cash allocation of cash receipts, live direct pay checks, and London Market settlements.

  • Be proficient in the oversight and management of all systems for cash application and be a Subject Matter Expert for Fiduciary Cash
  • Daily review of auto-net to ensure markets are properly funded and all netting set-ups are appropriate
  • Manage monthly net settlements to reinsurers as well as daily disbursements to clients meeting all Service Level Standards
  • Collaborate with Treasury Department in the management of disbursements, cash receipts, bank set-ups, and queries
  • Provide training, guidance, and oversight to the Offshore Technical Accounting team
  • Request, approve and process large cash disbursements
  • Oversee London Market cash receipts

You will work with our clients and Reinsurance partners to ensure that Aon's premiums and claims are remitted correctly. Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • 5+ years of experience in a role with Fiduciary Responsibility (Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable, Accounting, Book-Keeping, Finance, etc.).
  • Prior experience in Reinsurance or Insurance is preferred, but not required
  • Professional demeanor, including strong interpersonal and communication skills, (both oral and written).
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with good attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite of products.
  • Ability to take direction and prioritize workload accordingly.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, a related field, or equivalent years of industry experience.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $80,000 to $90,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
