Amada is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to work on a wide variety of Industrial IoT projects leveraging latest technology in a dynamic and fast paced
environment.

COMPETENCIES:

  • iOS, tvOS, and Windows testing
  • Strong understanding of QA best practices, methodologies, and industry standards.
  • Modern auto testing environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and problem solver
  • Self motivated , excellent time management, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Natural inclination towards user experience and general usability, ensuring quality accordingly.

SKILLS:

  • Postman testing software
  • SQL query
  • Experience working with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
  • Basic programming or scripting skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing process and ERP/MRP

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Quickly and efficiently identify and prioritize testing requirements across multiple projects.
  • Generate creative solutions.
  • Identify and resolve problems promptly.
  • Work well in group problem-solving situations.
  • Manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs.
  • Respond to requests for service and assistance.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Think creatively and on-the-fly, easily changing gears to provide alternate testing approaches as necessary.
  • Think critically to distill bugs down to the essential issues that caused them, eliminating superfluous steps.

PAY RATE: $70,000.00-$100,000.00

NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in miscellaneous duties within the department

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

  • Delivery Manager, Software R&D

SUBORDINATE STAFF

  • None

EDUCATION:

  • Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or
  • 3 years to 5 years related experience and/or training or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
