Overview: Responsible for leading and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share in the United States. Oversees a team of sales professionals, develop key customer relationships, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve sales targets and business objectives. Role will involve strategic planning, team management, and customer engagement to drive success in the U.S. market.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-drivenU.S. Sales Managerto lead our sales efforts in the United States for the Norris Product Line. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oil and gas sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the U.S. market.
  • Manage existing customer relationships and expand our client base.
  • Drive market share growth

Market Analysis and Forecasting:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
  • Analyze sales data and provide accurate sales forecasts to the manufacturing and operations team
  • Drive innovative marketing strategics to continue to promote Norris as a leading sucker rod supplier

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers in the oil and gas sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and marketing.
  • Collaborate with cross opco and organization teams to leverage strengths

Sales Presentations and Negotiations:

  • Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable deals.

Sales Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate the U.S. sales team to achieve targets.
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members.

Customer Support and Service:

  • Ensure excellent customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining regular communication.

Education, Licensing and Certifications:

Required

  • Four-year college or university degree in Business, Marketing or related field

Preferred

  • MBA or advanced degree in related field preferred

Experience:

Required

  • Six or more years of relevant experience in sales management
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Two or more years of experience leading high-performing sales team
  • Two or more years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
  • Understanding quality standards and programs such as: ISO Certification, API, ASTM, AISI, ASME & SAE considered an asset

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Thorough knowledge of customer relationship management systems and capabilities.
