Your Role at Baxter

This position willreports to VP, Global FP&A with extensive executive engagement with CEO, CFO, FLT, Group Presidents, and other key functional executives on a regular basis, leading a global team of 14 global team members to support the Corporate FP&A and Cash FP&A organizations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sets the drumbeat for the Finance organization, leads key processes across Finance including MRR, QRR, Earnings prep, LRP, and AOP
  • Strategic thought partner to VP, Global FP&A, CFO, and CEO
  • Owner of enterprise wide sales, income, and cash flow forecasting

Qualifications:

  • Senior level leader with strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Change agent with ability to effectively manage and drive impactful change across multiple geographies and functions
  • Ability to lead and operate in a team-oriented environment and influence cross-Strong process mindset and proven success in leading business initiatives to Strong technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of internal control requirements and accounting principles as well as understanding of relevant business environment
  • Strong ownership mentality; maintains focus on driving projects to completion and delivering output/results
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks concurrently; owns career and is accountable for managing own development
  • Strong financial and business acumen; familiar with financial systems and various aspects of financial reporting
  • 80/20 work approach, ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple on-going projects
  • Ability to distill insights from complex analyses and create concise and compelling presentations to senior leadership audience
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (or country equivalent).
  • MBA and/or CPA.
  • Healthcare and/or pharma or medical device industry experience preferred 7+ years of working experience with at least 3 -5 years within FP&A in a large multinational organization

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $176,000 to $264,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and long-term incentive.
