Summary:


In this role, you will serve as the dedicated Sourcing Executive for the Northeast Purchasing Coalition (NPC) as an extension of Vizient's award winning Supplier Diversity Program. The NPC is a member-owned, clinically led LLC focused on aggregation and committed purchasing volumes to drive additional savings and value for the NPC members as well as being a leader in bringing new innovations targeting structural change in the healthcare industry. You will serve as the regional and national sourcing resource responsible for the entire contracting process (RFx) with certified diverse suppliers located across the United States, including regionally in the Northeast and Midwest. You will provide insights into contracting with diverse suppliers to support the sourcing operations function of the NPC. You will collaborate with and support the design of, manage the implementation, and oversight of the contracting process that will drive inclusion of diverse suppliers providing value to the NPC participating Members. As part of the Vizient Supplier Diversity team you will access tools, insights, information, NGO and community relationships, and expertise to deliver on the responsibilities to the Northeast Purchasing Coalition.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a robust sourcing diversity project plan in collaboration with the supplier diversity team, NPC stakeholders and NPC staff.
  • Execute the governance process for all potential diverse supplier contract opportunities including preparation of governance review with finalized presentations and supporting documents.
  • Execute Vizient's diversity non-bid process and NPC custom contracting process including internal business unit collaboration, negotiating terms and conditions, and disseminating supporting documentation.
  • Review and utilize data and analytics to identify optimal opportunity for the members through conversions, newly awarded contracts or supplier maximum utilization opportunity with certified diverse owned businesses.
  • Manage program's overarching structure, processes, and procedures to accomplish objectives.
  • Develop marketing collateral to increase awareness of the contracting avenues supporting NPC's program goals.
  • Execute outreach with diverse suppliers supporting NPCs contracting roadmap through corporate partnerships, resources, and engagement opportunities.
  • Facilitate and participate in periodic business reviews with awarded suppliers, distributors, and/or members.
  • Establish and track program success metrics and deliverables (e.g., financial, awards, participation, and contract utilization)Responsible for supporting diverse suppliers in member adoption and contract utilization
  • Educate diverse suppliers on navigating Vizient's contracting processes supporting the NPC aggregation group.
  • Develop strategy to educate and collaborate with regional and national diversity certification authorities to advance the NPC goals.


Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Excellent client management skills required.
  • Previous engagement with supplier diversity programs.
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple programs.
  • Strong understanding of diversity and inclusion required.
  • Experience working with supply chain, and various types of suppliers preferred.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

$88,900.00 - $132,250.00
