Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.
- Will prepare simple and routine rebar placing plans of structural component using structural, civil and/or architectural drawings and specification.
- Has an understanding of concrete construction and exposure to large construction projects
- Is able to operate and draw in MicroStation (preferably) or AutoCad.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- 1 year of previous detailing experience preferred
- Previous experience with Auto CAD or MicroStation preferred.
- Experience and practical knowledge of rebar detailing per industry standards preferre
- Must meet CMC attendance standards
- Ability to interact and communicate with co-workers, company leaders, and customers in a positive manner required
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and business leaders
- Must demonstrate outstanding organization and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work overtime as necessary outside of normally scheduled shift with little or no advance notification
- Most importantly, has a desire or "passion" to be in the construction industry as a design professional
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Vocational certificate in CAD design/drafting issued from an accredited school or college, or equivalent preferred
