We are currently seeking licensed clinicians (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) for full or part-time positions in our Toms River, NJ location. Clinicians have the option of onsite or hybrid scheduling

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance abuse disorders
  • Provide treatment for a variety of mental health conditions using treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based methods 
  • Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects or complications

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in psychology, social work or a related counseling field
  • Active, Independent license in New Jersey as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT
  • 2+ years clinical experience
  • Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families
  • Solid computer and basic technology skills
  • Demonstrated history of professional growth and development

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Competent with a wide range of clinical presentations
  • Experience with children or adolescents
  • Experience with couples or family counselling
  • Experience with health psychology
  • Self-motivated and independent clinicians able to quickly build rapport with clients

 

New Jersey Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $72,000 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
