Position Highlights:

  • Location: Elmhurst, IL
  • Full Time
  • Hours: 8a to 5p Monday-Friday (Some Flexibility)
What you will need:Education, Experience and/or Skills Required:
  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher or a Bachelor's Degree or higher in a clinical area or in Healthcare Administration/Management Engineering
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • A minimum of two years of experience facilitating/leading improvement teams or projects
Education, Experience and/or Skills Preferred:
  • Master's Degree
  • Formal training and/or certification in Process Improvement and/or Team Facilitation
License/Certification Preferred:
  • Current State of Illinois RN licensure
  • Registration with the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), National Credentialing Agency (NCA) or equivalent
GENERAL SUMMARY:The Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator provides ongoing support for performance improvement groups and teams, including team facilitation and coordination of measurement and improvement activities. The PI Coordinator also provides formal and informal education to physicians, managers, and staff in the principals of performance improvement and measurement. Assists the System Director, Clinical Excellence with various Performance Improvement (PI) projects.Benefits:
