Learning Specialist, Business Systems

The Learning Specialist is responsible for the execution of business systems training. This includes design, development, and delivery of education, optimization, and supporting users on functions, features, operation, and usage of business systems. The Learning Specialist will act as the liaison between the business systems team and employees to provide an understanding of the system's capabilities.

  • Full Time/Part Time: Full-time (40 hours)

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

  • Travel:travel to other Endeavor Health locations may be required

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and trainers to design, develop, and execute comprehensive and engaging business systems training programs.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align business systems configurations with training needs based on business requirements.

  • Drive the creation of innovative training content that enhances user comprehension and proficiency in business systems functionalities.

  • Conduct regular evaluations of training programs to ensure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

  • Act as the primary contact for business systems-related training initiatives, providing ongoing support and training on business systems functionalities for end-users, trainers, and administrators.

  • Address and resolve issues related to training data and processes promptly and effectively.

  • Foster a supportive environment for end-users, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Serve as a resource for troubleshooting and providing guidance on business systems-related inquiries.

  • Ensure that all training programs align with the broader organizational goals and strategic objectives.

  • Regularly assess the impact of training initiatives on key performance indicators and make adjustments as necessary.

  • Collaborate with leadership to understand organizational priorities and incorporate them into the training strategy.

  • Collaborate with Human Resources, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and other relevant departments to seamlessly integrate business systems training and learning solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular updates on ongoing education initiatives.

  • Actively engage with stakeholders to understand their unique needs and tailor training programs accordingly.

  • Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any concerns.

  • Continuously optimize training workflows for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance user experience, and reduce time-to-competency.

  • Implement feedback loops to gather insights from end-users and stakeholders for ongoing improvements.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for innovation in training and learning processes, leveraging business systems functionalities and emerging technologies.

  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in business systems training to bring innovative ideas to the team.

  • Pilot and assess new training methodologies or technologies for potential integration into the training program.

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, required. Master's degree in HR, Business, or related field, preferred.

  • Experience:

    • 3+ years of proven experience in training design, required

    • Demonstrated track record of success with the design, development, and execution of training programs, required

    • 5+ years of relevant experience with a demonstrated understanding of appropriate workflows, preferred

    • Experience with Workday configuration/administration, preferred.

    • Design, development and execution of Workday Training program, preferred

    • Experience using Learning Management Systems for course delivery, including course/curricula creation, assignments, and reporting

    • Demonstrated competence with eLearning development tools such as Articulate and Adobe Captivate with the ability to create, edit, and update content independently.

  • Unique or Preferred Skills:

    • Knowledge of best practices in Learning & Development and/or the Healthcare industry

    • Knowledge of adult learning theories and prior experience in adult education

    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Effective written skills for drafting and documenting training materials

    • Exceptional presentation skills, specifically in the design and delivery of instructor-led training courses (in-person and virtual)

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
