Job Description

At Syngenta, we believe every employee has a role to play in safely feeding the world and taking care of our planet. To support that challenge, the Global Vegetable Marketing team is currently seeking a Chief of Staff to be located in Woodland, California.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Advisement: Provide counsel to the Head of Marketing on a wide range of issues, including organizational strategy, business operations, and executive decision-making.
  • Leadership Support: Act as a proxy for the Head of Marketing when necessary, representing the executive office in meetings and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Oversee and drive strategic projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timely execution.
  • Communication Facilitation: Ensure clear and effective communication between the executive office and other parts of the organization, as well as with external partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Significant experience in a business management role, with a proven track record of effective leadership and strategic planning.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to lead complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
