Job Summary:
Performs biomedical &/or social-behavioral research by administering tests &/or questionnaires following protocols; collecting, compiling, tabulating &/or processing responses; gathering information; &/or assisting in the preparation of material for inclusion in reports. Completes all activities by strictly following Good Clinical Practices (GCP) & all relevant current local, state, & federal laws, regulations, guidance, policy & procedure developed by the NU Institutional Review Board (IRB), Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), & the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH).
The Research Study Assitant will primarily focus on financial and ADMINISTRATION tasks such as screening and prioritizing incoming calls/emails and help respond to inquiries sent to the RADD email, assisting with financial transactions/reconciliations and participant payments, purchasing supplies and equipment, updating financial transaction spreadsheets, verifying the appropriateness and accuracy of charges, managing documentation and relationships with external vendors, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel for several studies.
The Research Application Design and Development (RADD) Team is the software development unit of the Northwestern University Institute for Sexual and Gender Minority Health and Wellbeing (ISGMH; http://www.isgmh.northwestern.edu). ISGMH is a university-wide institute dedicated to fostering research that improves the health and wellbeing of the sexual and gender minority communities. It currently has multiple NIH- and foundation-funded studies and actively collaborates with community-based organizations to conduct research and translate findings into interventions. The RADD team develops the innovative technologies and health-based interventions utilized by the ISGMH faculty, their collaborators, and tens of thousands of end-users nationwide.

Target hiring range for this position will be between $16.55-$23.28 per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data
