Position Highlights:
  • Position: Senior Manager, Clinical Research Unit
  • Location: Evanston, IL
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, onsite
  • Required Travel: Some travel between Endeavor Health locations

What you will do:The Sr. Manager will be responsible for the overall design, planning, implementation and management of clinical research studies and other research program activities including study initiation, execution, completion, budget planning, and administrative duties within their Clinical Research Unit - CRU (currently Neurosciences and Cardiovascular Institutes). The Sr. Manager may provide supervision and management of multiple research teams across departments or divisions, including other managers. The Sr. Manager will ensure that the study teams collaborate efficiently and effectively in support of the research efforts conducted by the investigators and support the strategic vision for research articulated by senior leadership. The Sr. Manager will work closely with department and CRU leadership to maintain alignment across functions.

What you will need:
  • Education: Baccalaureate degree preferred
  • Certification: SOCRA and/or ACRP highly preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of clinical research operations experience and at least 3 years supervisory and management experience.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of clinical research regulations and guidance, the Code of Federal Regulations, ICH GCP, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Ability to clearly develop action plans to ensure delivery on company strategy and goals as well as clinical development plans.
  • Ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels of the institution/organization, including senior level administrators, faculty, and staff.
  • Must be a demonstrated initiative-taker and collaborator with strong people skills
  • Must display strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Strong written and oral communication skills.
