Job Description

Work and collaborate with Business product owner, Business relationship managers, Security support team and site leaders on agile projects to ensure individual facility compliance and efficiency; access and interpret multiple data sources pertinent to team sourcing activities, including client internal data, supplier provided data, budget projections and user reports. Configure database/website with Star and Snowflake schema to ensure files adhered to standards and were of valid integrity before processing in Master database; work with server engineers to ensure proper builds of the new servers and SQL team to upgrade all servers to latest version. Work on Azure Synapse and Azure data factory by migrating Oracle code to Azure environment; redesign architecture and code to make it highly efficient, readable, and manageable; configure DataSync job on MS Azure to synchronize data between different environments; utilize synapse pipeline to kick off and schedule execution of the ETL jobs using triggers. Create data models using ER studio, ER-Win, SSMS tools; design several entity relationship and data flow diagrams following hierarchy of conceptual, logical and physical design phase; identify relationship among entities, keys, and constraints to understand architecture of application and to make a scalable design. Develop and maintain OLTP (online transactions processing) and Data Ware-House using facts and dimensions tables; select and prepare best fit model for optimal performance and reduce complexity; make decisions to choose between bottom-up and top-down approach; monitor ongoing running processes as well as execution plans for making enhancements and security checks. Troubleshoot and debug code and processes to verify and validate output/results and avoid erroneous data in the future; incorporate error handling techniques by utilizing try-catch statement and throw-raise error functions and come up with decisions of implementing relevant and accurate changes. Guide and lead team members to follow code standards and set up business domain knowledge transfer sessions to provide insights and learning of new processes and code development; work and pair with cross team members for code and technical reviews to deliver quality software. Work on object-oriented language (Python), .NET framework, TSQL code/queries and Angular to develop and support front end application and use GIT for version controlling facilitating easy rollback and disaster recovery of code base; follow TDD (Test Driven Development) to make sure each and every logic of the application is well-tested and reviewed.

In connection with above duties, utilize experience in Data Analysis; Business Intelligence; ETL (Extraction Transformation Load); Data Warehousing/Databases; Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle PLSQL; Python; R language; Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform; Research Analytics; Statistical Modeling Programming; Algorithms; Machine learning; Big Data/Data Mining; and Reporting (Tableau, Power BI, SSRS).

In connection with above duties, utilize experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence, ETL/ELT; Data Modeling: ER-win, MS Visio; Database/Datawarehouse (OLTP/OLAP); TSQL Programming, Dynamic SQL; Integration Services (SSIS), Informatica; Analysis Services (SSAS, OLAP Cubes); Reporting Services (SSRS, Report Builder, MS Excel, PBI); Data Visualization; and Testing (UAT, smoke, regression).

Telecommuting (work from home) permitted within metropolitan statistical area.

Salary: $139,464.00 - $168,800.00
