Compensation range for this role is : $100,000-115,000

As a Senior, Compliance and Operational Auditor at RXO, you will be responsible for collecting, synthesizing, analyzing, monitoring and disseminating data related to operational practices and processes in adherence with standard operating principles. You will audit and document the effectiveness of operational processes at sites and will use the analytical findings to support business cases to drive needed changes and improvements. In this role you will collaborate withkey internal stakeholders including those in Operations, IT, HR, Legal, and Compliance to achieve operational efficiency objectives.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Document and audit operational record-keeping procedures consistent with standard operating procedures related to safety, human resources, carrier compliance and other operational processes. Assist in project planning and risk analysis for audits and special projects to develop the audit scope, objectives, audit program.
  • Utilize data analysis techniques to help automate audit techniques and perform continuous monitoring
  • Create and execute operational testing plans; evaluate and report results; assist process and control owners with remediation plans for failed controls.
  • Coordinate internal controls audit activities and updates with business partners. Monitor and validate issues for remediation within prescribed timeline
  • summarize areas of opportunity and recommend appropriate interventions to eliminate possible barriers to the process or a potential increase to company risk. This may include monitoring progress toward operational goals; implementation and adherence to company polices as well as compliance.
  • Translate compliance requirements, area performance, trending and benchmarking into communication for the leaders and operators to understand the resolution and action items and then convert findings to support the case for needed changes and improvements.
  • Ensure the adequate assessment, prevention and management of issues and risks arising from operations, incidents, company service lines, including inspecting, assessing, monitoring, investigating, and recommending corrective action; Conducts trend analysis; Document compliance with standards; Perform technical work, program design and implementation, including accountability for outcomes of issues.
  • Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives. Identify, develop, and share best safety practices within the organization Proactively collaborate, meet with, and generally foster communication with business partners to facilitate two-way communication ensuring alignment with their activities and audit activities

What you'll need to excel:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2 years of experience working in compliance/operational program management
  • Experience working with six sigma; audit or quality functions. Experience working closely with operations, HR, legal, compliance and audit partners. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar software.
  • Experience with Excel using pivot tables, and advanced formula writing. Demonstrated knowledge of data analytics. Experience auditing against regulatory standards.

It'd be great if you also have:

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills with experience effectively supervising, coaching and influencing employees
  • The capacity to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
