JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an amazing Project Manager to join our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Team. This role will manage strategic Human Resources (HR) and DEI projects to drive business value through our company-wide DEI and Belonging initiatives and programming. Reporting to Head of Diversity and Inclusion, this role will serve as an extension of HR across business lines to build and promote DEI & Belonging and employee experience through work with our 7 employee groups and broader community.

The role will be anchored on amplifying our values to further support our culture of belonging at Commvault internally and externally. With strong organizational, analytical, communications, relationship and community building skills, this individual will own the project management of cross-functional DEI initiatives and programming. In addition, this person will put their skills in creating project plans, research, data analysis, developing process and driving execution of projects to use to translate Commvault's HR and DEI strategy throughout the organization and externally.

Additionally, this role will work across HR functional teams to deliver on projects connected to Marketing & Communications, Talent Acquisition, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and DEI partnerships. The ability to be proactive, manage multiple projects at one time and to bring them to completion in a timely and detailed manner is needed. Team collaboration, research, and creative storytelling, as well as handling confidential information are all in a day's work for this role.

What you'll do...

  • Incorporate critical thinking and research to bring industry trends to specific policies and DEI programs related to Commvault.

  • Pull disparate datapoints and research together to tell compelling stories and influence leaders particularly around critical workforce planning measures such as attrition, retention, engagement, performance, Learning & Development (L&D) and diversity reporting.

  • Generate reports, DEI messaging and powerpoints/slide decks using internal data and relevant analytics.

  • Build presentations for executive level audience that inspire and convey our message in a clear and visually elegant way to match our company culture.

  • Manage engaging event planning projects connected to 7 employee groups and extended values amplification with the goal of attracting top and diverse talent through collaboration with Talent Acquisition

  • Work with stakeholders across the business and HR to complete and implement initiatives and amplify communications on strategic HR and DEI initiatives.

  • Partner with Head of Diversity and Inclusion on key projects focused on underrepresented groups in the tech industry, philanthropic efforts through our Commvault Cares program and growing global awareness for Commvault as an employer of choice.

  • Support DEI and culture initiatives to further build the culture of belonging and diversity at Commvault through cross-functional People Programs

  • Drive outreach and engagement for our diverse and inclusive audiences internally and externally with a key focus on designing experiences connected to recruitment initiatives.

  • Engage in relationships-building activities to develop and extend outreach in collaboration with talent acquisitions and employee resource groups (ERGs).

  • Manage multiple new and on-going projects, and work in a highly collaborative environment.

  • Responsibilities include project management and preparing program plans to support all aspects of DEI initiatives such as but not limited to: Employee Resource Group meetings events/content development/speaker outreach and recruitment, DEI accolades projects, DEI blog posting, overseeing Sharepoint space, collaborating with the HR Leadership Team, business leaders and employees throughout the organization.

Who you are...

  • 1-3 years in a business setting

  • Outstanding communication, written and analytic skills

  • Advanced presentation skills (e.g. Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Canva, Prezi, etc.)

  • Demonstrated success in partnering with teams

  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and drive to successful completion

  • Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Flexible spirit with excellent relationship and community-building skills

  • Agile approach, interpersonal awareness, collaborative spirit with a can-do attitude

  • Proactive in providing solutions and thrives in fast paced environment

  • Must be able to commute to our Tinton Falls, NJ Headquarters.

$51,000 - $146,100
