Primary Responsibilities

In the role of CAD Intern, we'll count on you to:

  • Collaborate on CAD design for transportation projects, producing transportation infrastructure related plans, schematics, diagrams, and 3D models.
  • Support in CAD reviews, quantity estimation, cost estimates, and report generation.
  • Maintain organized documentation, coordinate with engineers, and stay updated on industry standards and software changes.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an associate or technical CAD program at the time of the internship to be considered.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, MicroStation, Geopak, InRoads, OpenRoads Designer and technical knowledge.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
  • Preference given to candidates that are local.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit software.
  • Knowledge of Bentley Microstation and OpenRoads software.
  • A good working knowledge of producing transportation infrastructure related plans, schematics, diagrams, and 3D models.
