Primary Responsibilities

• Work in a professional environment at an engineering consulting firm
• Experience working in tandem with engineers in various technical disciplines, attending meetings, preparing spreadsheets, visiting job sites
• Connect with other interns and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
• Be introduced to Computer Aided Design (CAD)
• Be exposed to diverse engineering fields, learn to apply your skills to assist on engineering projects while working in a team environment
• Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
• Perform other duties as needed

This is a summer 2024 internship

Qualifications

• Must be a resident of the City of Newark, New Jersey
• Must be currently enrolled in a City of Newark High School at the time of internship
• Must have completed the 10th or 11th grade
• Basic Microsoft Office and/or Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills are preferred

Additional Requirements

• Must submit a cover letter that includes current GPA, grade completed, and a list of STEM courses taken
• Include a brief explanation of why you are interested in this internship and why you are the best candidate for the job
• A copy of your transcript must be attached to the cover letter
• A valid Social Security Card is required
