Job Description

Aon is looking for a Commercial Insurance Compliance Manager (Hybrid in Lincolnshire, IL)

Supports national operations improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives by responding to or reinforcing regulatory compliance within ACS and with other business units, performing research, conducting audits, monitoring and testing process results, and participating in the design and implementation of work processes and tools.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides expertise and facilitation to the Director to assist in developing business improvement and quality plans.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of a formalized national operations improvement initiative and/or regulatory compliance. This includes assisting in the development of processes, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Provides ongoing quality research and support including identifying key performance metrics, conducting audits, monitoring service trends, and identifying performance gaps.
  • Provides ongoing research, development, maintenance, training, and communication of regulatory compliance.
  • Maintains or requests changes to various regulatory compliance databases includes the Brokerage Regulations Manual & OPG.
  • Develops key process indicators and other quantifiable measurement tools to track results of ACS activities and regularly report to key management.
  • Helps to resolve both internal and external compliance matters, working with the Director for guidance and support.
  • Responsible for evaluating and revamping (or creating) the ACS compliance and processing guidelines for a better user experience used by the ACS and AST's.

  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of insurance coverages, expert knowledge of quality improvement initiatives, and expert knowledge of regulatory compliance
  • Provides day to day guidance to specialists, including on the job training, coaching, and development, as applicable
  • May serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues
  • Comfortable with both internal and external clients
  • Possesses a willingness and skill level to learn and link new knowledge to job skills
  • Exemplifies the behaviors defined in the Aon Competency Model fostering a client-focused culture for both internal and external clients, while delivering low cost service in a controlled operating environment
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of Commercial Insurance experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to formulate effective action steps to resolve problems
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Comfortableness with using a variety of technology systems

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $80,000 to $120,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
