Primary Function

APCOM's facility in Franklin, Tennessee, manufactures electric thermostats, pipe nipples, dip tubes, elements, and burner assemblies. The Cycle Counter (Weekend Shift) will assist with inventory and warehouse operations in accordance with customer requirements and monitor performance to optimize production processes.

We Offer

Regular Scheduled Hours: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; 6 am - 6 pm CST

Hourly Rate of Pay: $21.85/hr ($20.85 base plus $1.00/hr differential).(Paid lunch. Paid 4 hour shift premium if there are no tardies/absences during the week)

Sign On Bonus Opportunity: $1500

  • $500 at 90 days, $500 at 180 days, and $500 at 365 days
  • Must not be on a corrective action for attendance to qualify for bonus payments

Responsibilities
  • Verify quantities by location for warehouse, in-process, and finished goods as directed by supervisor or cycle count sheet.
  • Audit transactions that are entered electronically into inventory control locator system.
  • Cycle count, as required, all inventory in the warehouse to include packaging supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory documentation (written and / or electronically recorded).
  • Identify and communicate all potential problem areas (i.e. labelling, materials, packaging, storage, and discrepancies) to the Materials Manager and Inventory Control Specialist.
  • Reconcile and identify source of any discrepancies found in inventory and report them to the Materials Manager.
  • Change status of product as necessary.
  • Follows all established company, state, and federal safety rules and guidelines and communicates all hazards and safety issues to co-workers, Supervisors and Management
  • Directly responsible for the proper support of all other team members to ensure a positive team environment.
  • Complete daily clean-up assignments and maintain good housekeeping throughout the entire area of responsibility.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment required; previous Cycle Counting or inventory control/analysis preferred
  • Good communication and organization skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and to constantly stand/walk entire shift
