We are searching for a Registered Nurse - Med Surgical Admissions to assess and care for patients with various health problems ranging in severity. Work in cooperation with individual patients, caregivers and ancillary staff. Advise regarding various modalities to meet patient wellness and illness needs including medication, nutrition, exercise and technical nursing treatments. Teach and support various positive self-care activities including problem solving and treatment alternatives.

• Hours: 40hrs (full time)
• Shift: Day Shift 4 w/weekend & holiday rotation; 8:00am-6:30pm
• Travel: This is a home care position and will require driving

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Graduate of a National League for Nursing accredited school is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• MA and RI nursing license.
• Minimum of one-year hospital medical/surgical or other relevant nursing experience is required.
• Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that is appropriate to the population of patients served.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs is preferred.
• Homecare experience strongly preferred.
