Staff Pharmacist - Per Diem
Prairie St. John's
Fargo, North Dakota

As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist at Prairie St. John's, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) from 8:00am-12:00pm.

About the Facility: Prairie St. John's is a fully licensed and accredited 132-inpatient bed psychiatric hospital offering services for children, adolescents and adults to address mental health issues, substance use addiction and/or co-occurring disorders. Prairie St. John's offers a full psychiatric and addiction continuum of care. This continuum of care includes inpatient hospitalization, partial hospitalization (day treatment), residential treatment, and intensive outpatient services. While many patients are from the Fargo, North Dakota; Moorhead, Minnesota; and surrounding areas, we also serve individuals and their families from throughout Minnesota, North Dakota and other states. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: This centralized pharmacy is open weekdays from 7:30am-4:00pm and weekends from 8:00am-12:00pm. Pharmacy systems utilized include HCS and Omnicell.

Required Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
  • Current North Dakota pharmacist license in good standing
  • Recent work experience as a pharmacist or new pharmacy school graduates are welcome to apply
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months
  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity
  • Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
  • HepB3 Series(or declination)
  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
  • COVID Vaccine-Full(required)
