Job Summary:
Our Production Team is hiring a CNC Machine Operator who is is responsible for performing various tasks to operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines. The Machine Operator will also be responsible for inspecting parts to specifications and adjusting, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications

Responsibilities:
* Operate CNC Machine
* Check quality to ensure parts produced meet print specifications.
* Enter results of daily production, scrap, and downtime into MRP system.
* Adjust cutters, demonstrate safe use of cutting fluids and utilize proper metal removal techniques to minimize chip create and optimize material yield.
* Perform in process inspections using micrometres, callipers, indicators, height stands, plug/pin gauges, and other standard inspection tools.
* Meet or exceed established set-up times and production rates.
* Write follow up reports and document issues and concerns for next shift.
* Assist Machinist I, II and Machinist III when required.

Basic Qualifications:
* High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED required)
* Minimum 1 year of machining experience or Technical College equivalent.
* Must be able to use basic hand tools and lift 35 lbs.
* Mathematical skills: Basic shop math; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
* Language skills: read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, blueprints, drawings, etc. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and effectively present information to other employees.

* Strong mathematical skills
* Able to work in a team environment.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills; knowledge of industrial communication and protocols.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet/exceed performance parameters.
* Willing to participate in continuous learning opportunities as part of job and personal development.
* Familiar with 6s and supporting process improvements preferred.
* Effectively and safely uses precision tools, machinery, and equipment.
* Must possess strong organizational skills, with ability to work on multiple priorities at onc
