Job Summary:

The Sr. Internal Controls Analyst will work in a dynamic environment with access to leadership, administrate a state of the art connected risk platform, and execute the strategy utilizing the framework established. This position will need to be self-driven with the ability to complete tasks timely with a high degree of quality. This position will be required to maintain positive and productive working relationships with auditors, employees, and other internal and external stakeholders. In addition, this position will interact with all levels of the organization including employees in international locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related field

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and internal control frameworks, e.g. COSO.

  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act.

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify controls gaps and propose effective solutions.

  • Meticulous attention to detail with focus on accuracy and precision.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex issue in a clear and concise matter.

  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for internal control testing and documentation such as Audit Board or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Other: 25% travel, including international

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's of Accounting or MBA; CIA; CPA; CISA

  • External Audit; Fraud investigation; Public Company or Public Accounting (National) Firm

  • SAP; SOX; Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27000 or ITIL

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews and assessments of existing internal control processes and systems to identify potential risks, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement internal control policies and procedures and ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Perform regular testing to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and compliance measures.

  • Analyze control deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective actions to mitigate risks and enhance operational effectiveness.

  • Administrate the software to maintain comprehensive documentation of internal control processes and testing results, and prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting control deficiencies and improvement opportunities.

  • Stay abreast of changes in regulations and update internal control processes accordingly and provide insights to the business partners the potential impact.

  • Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate response to audit requests and collaborate with auditors to address findings and implement corrective actions.

  • Conduct training sessions for process teams on internal control procedures and compliance requirements

  • Coordinate all aspects of scheduled internal audits
