Job Description:

As a QA Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of our products. Your responsibilities will include basic mechanical inspection of parts, cycle counting, and effective communication with managers, engineering staff, and purchasing staff. You will be responsible for compiling and maintaining inspection records and will have the ability to plan your own work schedule based on material requirements and your skillset.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Perform basic mechanical inspection of parts.

- Perform cycle counting as required.

- Discuss technical problems encountered with managers, engineering staff, or purchasing staff.

- Compile and maintain inspection records.

- Ability to plan your work schedule based on material requirements and skillset possessed.

General Tasks:

- Strict compliance with quality, occupational safety, and environmental regulations.

- Implementation of the instructions of the quality/environmental management representative and the occupational safety specialist.

Required Experience, Education, Skills, Training, and Competencies:

- Two (2) to five (5) years of related experience.

- High school, trade school, or equivalent education.

- Manual dexterity.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Familiar with data entry and basic computer skills.

- Effective communication with peers and superiors.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

- Proficient in the use of mechanical inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, indicators, surface plate techniques, air gage, go/no-go gages, and other mechanical inspection equipment.

- Willingness to work within prescribed procedures.

- Positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate with peers.

- Displays a high moral and business code of conduct.

- Respectful of peers, subordinates, and supervisors.
