The Customer Engagement (CE) team is our field based, customer facing organization consisting of Technical Engagement Managers and Application Engineers. The team partners closely with our customers to provide a comprehensive portfolio of products, software, and expertise, to help customers manage yield throughout their fabrication process-from research and development to final volume production. Responsibilities of this group include maintaining strategic client relationships, partnering with our sales team in identifying and closing sales opportunities, ensuring our products meet performance capabilities & expectations, providing critical solutions for improved yield performance, and collecting requirements for future products by understanding customer processes and technology trends. Partnering with our sales organization and factory divisions, this diverse and dynamic team helps ensure alignment between customer needs and product offerings to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Job Description
- Develop models for advanced films measurements in semiconductor manufacturing and development, primarily using optical spectroscopy including spectroscopic ellipsometry and spectroscopic ellipsometry
- The best qualified candidates will have education and experience with optics and optical spectroscopy.
- Enable customer success by providing them with high quality measurements enabling them to reduce variability in their processes.
- Develop models for advanced films measurements in semiconductor manufacturing and development.
- Use analytical skills to troubleshoot customer material issues based on metrology results.
- Documents results and makes presentations on all aspects of products.
- Assists sales & marketing staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications.
- Work collaboratively with many organizations including engineering, service, sales and marketing within KLA and with customer engineers.
- Conduct new product introduction projects.
- Provide escalation support to onsite field service engineer; leading and coordinating remote/local troubleshooting.
- Perform experiments to characterize tool/subcomponent performance and develop recipes to model applications.
- Applications engineer will manage in-house customer demonstrations and head-to-head (H2H) activities at customer facilities.
Minimum Qualifications
