Overview

The Security Asset Analyst will be responsible for discovery, tracking, and maintaining an accurate information technology asset inventory. The Security Asset Analyst will be an interictal teammate within the Information security department. The Security Asset Analyst is a key player in maintaining an accurate asset inventory that will aid in the securing of AIT information assets. This role offers the opportunity to participate in a broad set of compliance and security responsibilities.

Responsibilities
    Responsible for managing life cycles of hardware and software licenses from their introduction to their retirement and perform a variety of administrative duties related to the organization's IT hardware, software and license agreements/contracts
  • Identify potential risks/issues, propose appropriate remediations for identified risks and collaborate with internal teams to execute corrective steps.
  • Administer and monitor the company's security-related tools (Vulnerability scanner, WAF, SIEM, MFA, etc.)
  • Responsible for designing solutions to address IT risks and lead projects to implement security changes
  • Maintain, update, and create technical support and end-user support documentation
  • Assist in responding to customer security risk questionnaires and audits
  • Serve as key point of contact for all matters related to asset management
Qualifications

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or other technology-related discipline Required

Experience Qualifications

  • 2+ years Experience in a user support role within an IT environment Required and
  • 2+ years Experience in analytics and the multi asset market Preferred and
  • 2+ years Experience working as a cybersecurity professional Preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work independently and within teams (High proficiency)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in writing technical specifications are required (High proficiency)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills (High proficiency)
  • The ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and to reason analytically is required (High proficiency)
