Job Responsibilities:

As a Salesforce Developer, you will have the opportunity to be a part of ADA's growth and dynamic environment. We are seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Developer providing Software Application Development on the Salesforce platform using Object Oriented design methodologies and Salesforce technologies- Apex, Visual Force, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Apex Triggers, Salesforce Integrations to external systems.

As a key member of our Salesforce Team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and deploying and maintaining scalable and robust solutions on the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in object-oriented design principles and a proven track record of delivering high-quality Salesforce applications. Knowledge of MuleSoft is a plus, as it will help in integrating Salesforce with other systems within our organization. A further plus is working experience & knowledge in Omni Studio.

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years experience as a Salesforce Developer in a similar environment (midsize enterprise, team of 2-4) with extensive knowledge of APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers and Salesforce Integrations to external systems; OR 9 years experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience with Salesforce declarative tools such as Process Builder, Flows and Workflow Rules
  • Excellent collaboration and excellent relationship building, communication, written, verbal skills
  • Experience in a hybrid workplace
  • Active in the Salesforce community
  • Significant knowledge of the Salesforce Platform as a Developer and preferably have completed your Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (Platform Developer II preferred)
  • Solid understanding of software development (agile), adjacent systems, and infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns and experience with integration tools (such as MuleSoft)
  • Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions in a growing environment using Lightning web components, Aura components, and Apex
  • Application/component design experience with Salesforce.com capabilities including integration scenarios
  • Create and maintain Apex classes, triggers, and other Salesforce development artifacts
  • Customize and extend standard Salesforce functionality to meet unique business needs
  • Integrate Salesforce with other systems using APIs and web services
  • Develop and execute comprehensive unit testing, code reviews, and participate in the overall quality assurance process to ensure best practices
  • Document technical specifications, process flows, and architecture diagrams maintaining standardization, and look for ways to continuously improve processes & procedures
  • Ability to work closely with Salesforce Architects and other ADA Admins to design efficient solutions that work end-to-end encompassing the entire ADA IT solution components to collaborate resulting in translating business requirements into functional business configurations and solutions
  • Maintain these solutions throughout the many phases planned to drive business process efficiencies producing real ROI
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment
  • Experience in Salesforce configuration changes and release management tools
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experienced with DevOps tools like Copado
  • Familiar with middle ware tools like MuleSoft
