Compensation Analyst II:

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation and administration of broad-based compensation programs for Univar's Chemical Distribution business unit. This role assists in the day-to-day operations of compensation processes, conducts market research, and provides analytical support to ensure the effectiveness and competitiveness of compensation practices. The position reports to the Manager, Compensation and plays a key role in maintaining compensation data integrity and responding to inquiries.

What You'll Do:

  • Administer the corporate compensation email box, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries
  • Manage global salary survey submissions and participation, collecting and organizing data for analysis
  • Conduct market research and prepare compensation analyses to support decision-making
  • Assist in the annual compensation planning process, including merit, bonus, and long-term incentive programs
  • Support the development and maintenance of compensation policies and procedures

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in compensation or related HR field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Working towards or interest in obtaining Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification
  • Experience with HRIS and compensation management systems
  • Knowledge of global compensation practices and trends
