As a member of multifaceted tax team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of tax topics including tax compliance, tax provision, assistance on tax audits, and tax research and planning.

Tax Compliance and Audits:
  • Preparation of the consolidated federal income tax return and supporting schedules for multinational corporate taxpayer.

  • Collect foreign subsidiary data for Form 5471 and 8858 including E&P and tax pool information.

  • Assist with US international tax calculations including foreign tax credit, GILTI and FDII.

  • Preparation of federal and state income tax estimated payments and extension requests, and coordination with Treasury and other departments to ensure applicable payments.

  • Preparation of notice responses for federal and state income tax, property tax, S&U tax, payroll and accounting notice responses.

  • Prepare/Review annual report filings.

  • Provide coordination and support to tax advisors on tax compliance matters.

  • Assist in preparation of IDR responses and planning for federal and state tax audits.

  • Assist with preparation of transfer pricing documentation reports.

  • Assist with filing of annual FinCen Foreign Bank Account filings.

Tax Provision:
  • Assist with quarterly and annual income tax provision including preparation of supporting documentation, FIN 48 analysis, tax footnotes and disclosures, and review domestic and foreign tax provision schedules.

  • Assist with foreign return to accrual analysis.

  • Coordinate quarterly compliance calendar in close collaboration with Accounting and outside service providers.

  • Monitor compliance with SOX reporting requirements, including maintenance of SOX documentation and assist with Internal Audit review.

Tax Research and Planning:
  • Document support for positions taken on returns.

  • Review existing tax processes and recommend improvements.

  • Provide tax research and support on new/developing tax positions and management initiatives.

  • Perform special projects as needed.

Position requirements
  • Three or more years of corporate tax experience.

  • Strong computer, analytical, interpersonal, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail.

  • Experience with tax compliance and provision software (e.g., OneSource OTP/OIT is a plus)

  • Strong Interpersonal and communications skills.

  • Ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams, as the need arises.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required. MST a plus. CPA a plus.
