Job Title: Division Order Analyst

Sub Department: Land Unit Development

Reporting Location: Remote

Required Years of Experience: 4+ years of land/land administration of related experience.

Required Education: Associates Degree in Business, Legal Studies (or related area)

Position Objective: The Division Order Analyst is responsible for researching and analyzing legal documentation to set up and maintain division of interests for the life of a well and to ensure proper and timely payments to owners.

Essential Duties:

• Review title documents, lease agreements and other legal documents to calculate and set-up division of interest for new wells
• Process ownership changes based on review of conveyance documents (including Assignments Deeds, Wills, Affidavits or Heirship, Trusts, and Court Orders)
• Respond to inquiries, requests, and correspondence from royalty owners
• Research suspense account issues
• Effectively communicate with other departments including, Lease and Land Records, Contracts, Accounting, Land, Title, and Legal
• Special projects as determined by Supervisor/Manager

Required / Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Minimum Education: Associates Degree in Business, Legal Studies (or related area)
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Experience analyzing title opinions and conveyance documents.
• Familiar with Estate laws and associated legal documents.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Must be able to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-pacedenvironment
• Working knowledge of oil and gas software accounting systems (Enertia preferred).
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Experience in the Appalachian Basin preferred.
